Harvard met and defeated the Trinity College nine on Jarvis last Saturday. The game was marked by no brilliant plays on either side. There was a high wind blowing and the cold, disagreeable weather precluded the possibility of good ball playing. The battery of the visitors was weak. The catcher was unable to throw to second base, which accounts for the large number of stolen bases. Trinity presented an inexperienced man as third, who was not a success.
