Usage:

...rowed seven, is working with the University crew, but captains his class crew and coaches it. Sears, who rowed six, is not a candidate this year. Davis, who rowed five, Markoe and Hebard, four and two respectively, are with the University crew. This leaves three old men-Perry, Hight and Dustan-among the present candidates for the crew.
