Trenchard played right end in the Thanksgiving game with Yale and made a very good showing against Hinkey. Before going to college he attended the Lawrenceville preparatory school, and it was there that he gained his knowledge of football. He was a substitute on Princeton's eleven of 1891, and easily made the 'varsity last year. Although only eighteen years old he runs well, tackles hard, and interferes excellently.
