Golf is an elevating pursuit, and promoting a new golf course is almost as elevating. Last week in Miami, where a new $10 million country club is abuilding. Promoter Alfred L. Kaskel announced that he would hire girl caddies to help the golfers on their rounds. With all tuition income earmarked for faculty pay, Kalamazoo can use its increased income to hire better teachers at bigger salaries.
