Princeton defeated Harvard on Saturday in a well played but one sided game. Except in the fifth inning, when Princeton hit Paine pretty hard and Harvard made two costly errors, the game was quickly and sharply played, Princeton winning through bunching her hits, and through Harvard's inability to hit Wilson safely...

Then Bradley knocked an easy grounder to Stevenson, who threw too high for Haughton to reach, Bradley going to second. Paine threw past Dean and Bradley got to third. Easton was hit, stole second, and then he and Bradley both scored on Altman's single. Two more hits followed and then a base on balls. A sacrifice hit brought home a run and then Princeton went out on Kelly's failure to reach home...

Harvard did not come near scoring until the 9th inning, when she made a last desperate effort. Paine hit safely, Rand got to first on a fumble of a sharp hit to shortstop and Haughton filled the bases by another single. On an error by Smith, Scannell reached first and Paine scored. Then came a passed ball and Rand ran in. Stevenson followed with a single, Scannell was out at second, but Haughton scored. Burgess went to first on a dead ball, but Dean retired the side by a weak grounder...
