Usage:

Williams started out well in the first inning, when the first man up hit over second base and the next man sacrificed. Williams got a man to third in the seventh inning on a hit to right field, an out, and a stolen base after Currier's catch of a difficult foul fly over by the first base fence. Currier made a wonderfully accurate throw to Lanigan after the catch, but the umpire called the runner safe on a close decision. ...eight Brown reached first for the third time and the hit and run game was tried without success, as Hicks failed to hit the ball and Brown was out on the catcher's throw to second base.
