Geneva, N. Y., May 13.-The University lacrosse team today took the lead in the northern division of the intercollegiate lacrosse league by defeating Hobart College by the score of 8 to 2. During the first period Hobart was distinctly weaker in all departments of the game as evidenced by the tally at the end, which was 6 to 1.
