...immediate interest to the students. Would that we could say the same of all our college journals! There's the Amherst Student for one, out of many instances; three of its columns are devoted to an article called "A Shakspearian Trilogy," and three more to an essay on Hogarth; no one ever cares to read such effusions as these; if there is more space than can be filled with interesting matter, why not either shorten the paper or publish none...
