...last regular meeting, May 17th, the Harvard Union will hold a convention of the college for the purpose of nominating candidates for the presidency of the United States. It will be conducted similarly to the one held here with so much success four years ago. The Union is going is going to canvass the departments of the University in Cambridge to ascertain presidential preferences, and announce the result at the convention. ...starters in the bicycle race were K. Brown, '91; E. Norton, L. S., and R. H. Davis, '91. Davis won, Brown second. The last lap was very exciting, and the race was not decided until just at the finish. Brown led most of the last lap but could not hold his place. Davis' time was 6m. 9s.
