Sander's Theatre was well filled last evening by the audience assembled to hear Prof. Hermann Von Holst's lecture on "The political Nature of the German Empire, as Determined by the Constitution." Beginning with the formation of the German confederacies the lecturer briefly discussed the causes which led to the adoption of the German Constitution, and by a careful study of its leading principles showed wherein it differed from that of the United States.
