Hunt, 83, auto engineer, who in 1923 designed the first General Motors Chevrolet to compete successfully with Ford's Model T, incorporating such features as automatic windshield wipers, an electric horn and a longer, more stylish body, was duly awarded a vice-presidency by Alfred P.
