...first regular meeting of the Princeton Club of New York for the season of 1888-9 was held at the Hotel Brunswick, on Fifth Avenue, last evening at half-past seven. The meeting began with a course dinner and at its conclusion considerable important business bearing on the interests of the university and the club was discussed. A large number of names were presented for membership. The men thus proposed, after paying an initiation fee of five dollars were admitted.
