Wheeling in a hot blue sky, U. S. supply planes rained upon the Nicaraguan town of Quilali picks, shovels, hatchets, crowbars. Terrestrial Marines picked up eagerly these useful tools. They had just captured Quilali from General Augusto Sandino (see above) after a hot fight (TIME, Jan. 9), which continued, last week, resulting in the death of one more Marine, and the wounding of five more.
