...Howe pitched the remaining four innings and three hits were made off him. Cobb caught throughout the game and held both pitchers well, but allowed a great many bases to be stolen. The team batted only fairly well, Hallowell however distinguished himself by making three hits and Frothingham two. Hovey did not accompany the team and Whittemore '95 played short stop.
