...About the race--they started the race back in 1965. HP: Yeah, actually it was a pretty unpretentious beginning. When they did it, I think those people were a little skeptical about the event, because there had never been such an event here in this country. I thing the idea came from a coach who had coached in England where Head races were pretty well established.
