...nine as a whole is to be congratulated on the steadiness and coolness of its play in the field. The batting, as was to be expected, was very weak. For Yale, Hubbard caught a faultless game, while Jones was very effective as pitcher. Other features of the game for Yale were the second base play of Terry, the base running of Hopkins and the batting of Jones and Childs.
