Monday of last week Mikolajczyk packed a small suitcase with papers. Accompanied by his secretary, Mrs. Maria Hulewicz, he walked out of his apartment. On the following Saturday Stanislaw Banczyk, the Polish Peasant Party's deputy chief, reported his absence to the Government.
