By all accounts, this new offering from veteran Finnish filmmaker Aki Kaurismaki is a bizarre, eclectic offering, trafficking heavily in dark humor and kitschy music.  Kaurismaki focuses his story on an injured, amnesia-addled man who falls in love with the woman who nurses him back to health.  The film won three awards at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, including Best Actress and the Grand Jury Prize, and in February became the first film from Finland to ever be nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film...
