That leaves Bob Downes, one of Spring's rivals for tackle, as the only injured man not accounted for. Downes was hurt in the Brown game and has been on Doc Thorndike's list ever since. By the close of practice yesterday, the Doc had not had a chance to see how Downes has progressed over the weekend.
