...second Harvard-Yale debate of the year will take place this evening at the Hyperion Theatre in New Haven. Only a few Harvard men are going but they hope to witness a victory for the Harvard speakers. The subject is, "Resolved, that the time has now come when the Policy of Protection should be abandoned by the United States." Harvard has the negative. H. C. Arrangements for the Harvard-Yale debate were not brought to a conclusion suitable for publication, until vacation. The evening of May 2 has been definitely settled upon. The debate will take place at the Hyperion Theatre at New Haven. Hon. Chauncey M. Depew has kindly consented to preside. When Hon. Chauncey M. Depew took his place on the platform in the Hyperion Theatre at New Haven last Friday night, there was not a vacant seat in the house.
