Usage:

Against Dartmouth, after an initial warning for the first barrage of garbage that emerged from the stands, the fans threw more trash on the ice and Harvard received a penalty. That 'meant that the icemen, up 2-1, were shorthanded for two minutes. Had Dartmouth scored a goal at that point. Harvard might not be in the playoffs. Late in the third period, the fans caused another delay-of-game penalty, and Dartmouth scored shortly afterward...

...With two games left in the season, the icemen held sixth place. On March 1, they lost, 3-2, to Dartmouth when goalie Brian Petrovek accidentally kicked the puck into his own net.
