The work lasted over an hour and consisted chiefly of shooting practice for the wings and centres. There were so many men on the ice that it was a complicated matter to give them all a fair show. ...Boston Arena has opened its rink and candidates for the University hockey team will practice there this afternoon from 5 to 7 o'clock. This will be the first opportunity the men have had to get on the ice and to start using their sticks.
