Former Attorney General Elliot L. Richardson '41 said yesterday he will not run for president but added "If I had a clear shot at it, I would take it."
Richardson said his commitment as ambassador to the International Law of the Sea conference would not leave him enough time this winter for pre-convention activities. He said he may run for Kennedy's Senate seat in 1982 if Kennedy is elected president.
"The referee asked if I was ready and I told her no, but she blew the whistle anyway. I should have backed off, but I got flustered and shot," Sailer said.
These lists form the substance of the manual--dull as any address book, they are Edelhart's forte. He glues them together with chapter headings that resemble K-Mart stick-ems: "Well, If They Can Cure Hiccups, What About Acne?" or "A Knotty Problem--Tying Ties."
Still, if somehow you can overlook the cutesiness, Edelhart includes a number of useful recommendations, especially on student economics.
