...happened in a village two miles north of Spring Valley, Dalzell, Ill. Now I will admit that our jail is not much better than the one in Dalzell but the escapes in the past from our jail did not get the widespread publicity that this incident did. Then too our Mayor, the Hon. John Doyle, surely must feel hurt to have the Hon. Albert Tonelli mentioned as Mayor of Spring Valley.
