...Haven, Conn., December 6, 1911.-- At a meeting of the Yale football squad held this evening Jesse Spalding '13, of Chicago, Ill., was elected captain of next year's team. Spalding prepared for college at the Hill School, where he played halfback on the school football team for two years. He played left halfback on his freshman team and was a member of the university squad last season. This fall he played right halfback on the Yale team.
