Safety Air Seat. A new type of airline seat for protecting passengers in a crash has been adopted by Sabena Belgian World Airlines for use in its new Boeing 707 jets. The seat automatically tips backward on impact until the passenger's spine is nearly horizontal, thus putting his whole body in a better position to withstand the shock.
