Usage:

Should Agnew succeed in persuading the courts that he cannot be indicted before he is impeached, an odd impasse might ensue. The Democratic leadership of the House of Representatives is by no means sure it can impeach Agnew for offenses committed before he became Vice President (see page 15). If that proves so, in theory at least, Agnew could escape both being indicted in Maryland-if the courts ruled that he could not be tried while a Vice President-and being impeached on the Hill. But if the evidence against him is truly compelling, that logic would not likely...

...stand on Executive privilege would be vindicated by a broad decision in his favor, though the suspicion would remain that the tapes were incriminating. But if the court orders Nixon to produce the tapes and he refuses to obey, the House most likely will formally consider moving to impeach him. The Congress refused to lift his immunity or impeach the Senator -which Bordaberry last week cited as justification for his action. (Erro, luckily, was in Buenos Aires on a lecture tour at the time of the coup and thereby escaped arrest.) At week's end, an uneasy calm prevailed in Uruguay. Bordaberry imposed strict censorship, ordered schools and universities...

...GOOD BEHAVIOR; FREE THE WATERGATE 500; NIXON BUGS ME. Even old 1968 campaign buttons reading "Nixon's the One" have been sported for possible misinterpretation. In California, wags predict that a well-known ice-cream company is about to introduce a new flavor called "impeach-mint." Midwesterners say that "even John Wayne has been implicated-they found hoof-prints outside the Watergate...
