...preparation for the struggle with Dartmouth. Syracuse came to Princeton with one of the strongest elevens that has represented that university in a long time, and while they scored on the university, the final score was 12 to 7 in favor of Princeton, Lafayette was next, but proved inferior to its predecessor and was beaten by 16 to 0, although the University team did not play up to standard, and showed a disappointing lack of the "scoring punch." The game with Dartmouth was a satisfaction in every way, not only because of a 16-12 victory over a very strong...

Cornell triumphed over Brown, 28 to 7, at the Polo Grounds in New York City. Brown excelled at the forward passing game; in all the other phases of football she was distinctly inferior to her opponent. The Cornell defence was practically impregnable and her backfield men found little difficulty in opening up the Brunonian line for constant gains. Barrett of Cornell, and Murphy, of Brown, the two quarterbacks, easily starred on account of their field generalship...

...inferior eleven which the University will put in the field. The past week has seen the removal of both Mahan and Logan from the backfield. This has necessitated the shifting of Hardwick from right end to Mahan's place in the backfield, and the substitution of Weatherhead at right end and Watson at quarter. These men, though they played well in the Springfield game, have not yet proved themselves up to standard. At all events, it is unfortunate that any but the strongest line-up must face Washington...
