...practice yesterday, though somewhat hindered by the rain, was rather encorging. The men were wide awake and put plenty of life into their playing, particularly Chandler, who has improved greatly and appeared yesterday to be the best man in the infield. The errors made were probably due to the wet ball. The batting was good; the hits were few and hard.
