...Freshman nine began work in the cage yesterday afternoon. The men were coached by Captain Wendell and A. Black '03, and were given practice in stopping grounders, followed by a short run of six laps around the cage. For the present the work will consist simply of infield practice, and practice in sliding to bases. In about two weeks the men will be given batting practice.
