...April 15, 1982 Crimson editorial piece entitled "An Infirm Foundation" raised some good points pertaining to the formation of the Foundation and its objective. However, Ms. Wall (the author) fell considerably short of accurately describing the function of the Foundation. She fails to address the many difficulties confronting any individual undertaking a project of the size, magnitude, and complexity as that of a Race Relations Foundation. Moreover, Ms. Wall made no mention of the many research projects, (e.g. discrimination in the athletic department, race relations in various undergraduate houses, and an investigation of the educational status of minorities of color...

...take issue with the letter in the Crimson (4-30 82) highlighting the "positive contributions" that the Race Relations Foundation has made on campus. Also, I disagree with the statement in an April 15 editorial. "An Infirm Foundation," by Wendy L. Wallj that "most non-minority students have ignored the Foundation." As a member of the Percy I. Julian Science Organization who worked on publicity for the lecture given by Dr. Masse, I found that many non minority students who have helped expressed interest in finding out more about the Race Relations Foundation...

Adult day care centers are, for a growing number of Americans, a happy solution to the problems posed by infirmity and old age.
