...second baseball team was defeated by the Yale seconds 3 to 1, on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. Watrous pitched well for Yale, allowing only seven scattered hits, and striking out 11 batsmen. He practically won the game in the fifth inning by slamming a home-run to left field. In the same inning Patten had scored on a long fly to left field which was muffed. Yale's third run came in the ninth, when Patten scored on a hit, an error, and a single by Bierwirth...
...baseball team was defeated by Andover, 4 to 3, at Andover, yesterday afternoon. The Freshmen were in the lead 3 runs to 1 until the eighth inning, when Felton, who had previously pitched almost air-tight ball, weakened at the critical moment, passing one man and hitting another. An error by Sears was just enough to turn the tide in Andover's favor, and the Academy succeeded in putting three men across the plate, and in maintaining the one-run margin until the end of the game...

The Freshmen's runs were made by Casey and Kerr. Sears had a good day, although he failed to score, getting two hits out of three times at bat. Each team got six hilts. Kelley started...

Dowd, the Princeton pitcher, was in excellent form and held the visitors down to two hits, but the Princeton fielding was very ragged. In the first inning Dartmouth was able to score two runs on errors, and this was sufficient to tie up the game. The Princeton batting was sensational, nine hits being made in all, one of which was a home-run by Driggs. This came at an inopportune time, however, for the bases were empty...
