About two months ago, I was one of many who registered for the first time at this much-respected institution called Harvard University.
Wilson told The Gazette this week that Jacoby "brings an unusual combination of skills and experience to this unique institution...Her experience in teaching scholarship will add strength to our pursuit of Radcliffe's mission."
Within these broad limits, however, Harvard's mission as an academic institution demands that the University should encourage speakers with controversial viewpoints, even if some do not find them appropriate--especially if some do not find them appropriate.

The Administration seems to have forgotten that this structure is more than a bureaucratic inconvenience to some faculty members.
