...Nation of Islam will play a major role in restoring the hope of black America, Nation of Islam minister David Muhammad told a crowd of about 65 last night...
Tadrous and Al-Ississ criticize the opening of the tunnel for "undermining the Islamic character of the shrine." Such hysterically paranoid comments have typified the reactions of many. While the tunnel is the literal foundation of the Jewish religion, it is of no relevance to Islam or to the Arab people. Furthermore, there is absolutely no threat whatsoever to Al-Aksa Mosque. Even if this was the intention of the Israeli government, which clearly it is not, aren't there any better ways of "undermining the Islamic character of the shrine" than excavating a 2,000 year-old tunnel alongside...
...clashes and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is cutting short a trip to Germany to return to Israel. He reportedly will meet with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat today. The violence follows Netanyahu's decision to open a second entrance to an archeological tunnel under Temple Mount. Even though...

He plans to address an African-American political summit in St. Louis, Missouri, later this month, followed by a World's Day of Atonement on Oct. 16, the anniversary of the Million Man March (which incidentally wound up $66,000 in the hole, according to the Nation of Islam's calculations). One can only hope most people will ignore both events, but that hope is probably in vain. African Americans are so starved for inspiring leadership that many confuse Farrakhan with a hero. If he ever gets his hands on really big bucks, his throng will swell even more...
