...orchestra did excellent work in the performance of this number, as also in their rendering of the Andante and Menuet from Mozart. Miss Ita Welsh sang "The Captive" by Berlioz, and an Aria from Mozart's Figaro, in a very tasteful manner; the last of these was particularly appreciated by the audience, and won a merited encore.
