...every airline aircraft in U.S. skies there are now two corporate aircraft - that's 18,000 planes, up from 1,800 in 1970. Jeff Roberts, group president of CAE, a billion-dollar aviation simulation and training company, says that the past four years brought a 40% increase in the deliveries of business aircraft worldwide. The FAA forecasts that at least 9,000 new corporate jets will be delivered over the next decade, adding 10% more annual flying time compared with 3% for commercial jets.
