Professor Lyon, at the Chapel yesterday evening, spoke en the character of Jeremiah, on his times, life and teachings. He said: Jeremiah was the greatest of the prophets, not the deepest thinker, but the strongest character. Naturally timid, the conviction that he spoke the words of God gave him courage, and he spoke words of truth for all times and all peoples.
