...JG: He's also very good. We actually talked about that a lot, the style of performance that he gives in the movie. This is a totally sophomoric approach to creating a character, to characterization-it is one of the high school staples of this country to read Kafka's Metamorphosis. But I gave him the Metemorphisis to read for that character because I had wanted him to be almost this sort of Gregor Samsesque character. In fact I designed the set of his apartment, with that really long hallway to his room, straight from that story. And maybe this...
