Some 800 Palestinian prisoners walked out of Israeli prisons Wednesday as part of the country's peace agreement with the PLO. Members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad were freed along with Palestinians convicted of petty crimes. Israel has freed more than 7,000 prisoners since making peace with the PLO in September 1993.
