...easy to see why "Stage Struck" has reached the second half of a University double bill so early in its career. It just hasn't got anything--Joan Blondell, Dick Powell, and the dewy-eyed heroine not excepted. The dance numbers are too fragmntary to deserve criticism. The songs are doggerel.
