...drug problems that plagued U.S. forces in Korea and elsewhere in the 1960s and early 1970s. (Nearly half the 2nd Division's G.l.s are black and other minorities.) Morale also seems high in most places. A young lieutenant compared his life at Camp Casey with that at a "jock college." Closer to the DMZ, soldiers suffer from isolation, primitive facilities (hot baths once a week) and sheer boredom. It is at these bleak forward outposts that the U.S. would suffer its first casualties if North Korea were ever to launch a major attack. Thus, for the G.l.s based there...

Though it requires the stamina of soccer, Ultimate Frisbee is in many ways a spoof of big-time sports. The 5-ft. 3-in., 113-lb. jock, a bubbling personality who often sings while riding to the post, is a quiet artist at the reins. Along with a "good-looking seat"-he rides in a tight crouch with his back parallel to the horse's body-Cordero has one of the most effective whip techniques in the business...

...evil doctor, leeringly played by Tim Curry, has fashioned a blond centerfold playmate, Rocky (Kim Milford), who is sort of male. Frank wears torn black mesh stockings, black garters and black lipstick. Rocky is clad in something smaller than swim trunks and larger than a jock strap. He tenses his torso and biceps like an old Charles Atlas ad plugging rock muscularity...
