Near the beginning of Joel Schwartz's play, three actresses are discussing their roles in a play in sneering negatives. One cuts in, "It has its moments." They were not talking about My Eye Sees Not So Far. Mr. Schwartz's play runs nearly three hours and nearly all of it taken up with those "moments." It is, in short, a wonderful play...

...flood where only a drip had existed before. Capitalizing on the general state of disrepair among France's repairmen, SOS's two young owners have built up a $1,000,000-a-year business out of providing prompt and relatively effective service. Blasting the dissident stockholders' committee as a bunch of "raiders," President Joel Hunter caught a plane for California. Impressed by the way in which Simon had moved in to improve Wheeling, Canada Dry and McCall Corp., Hunter proposed that Simon-who knows the corporate-acquisition route better than he knows the way home from his own office-help block the invaders. Simon...

...Joel Oppenheimer's play was written, certainly, with good intentions. Centering around three cowboy desperadoes crossing the Western plains, it seeks to bitterly expose the great American romance for what it was. Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, Billy the Kid, and Wild Bill Hickock sit on a raised platform (that's heaven, pardner) and from time to time offer "commercials" on "The Sixgun That Won The West," "The Indians of the Americas--A Veritable Tower of Babel," and such. The format is funny and the commercials (and their delivery) are for the most part very funny. Near...
