Frank Christopher Dowd 2 M., was shot at nine o'clock last evening in Charlestown by a man named G. G. Johnson of Medford. Dowd was removed immediately to the Massachusetts General Hospital. At a late hour the authorities at the hospital reported that he was bearing up well though badly injured.
