...regret to learn that, after several weeks of consideration, Yale has decided not to accept our challenge to a joint Athletic Meeting in the spring. The idea seemed one which, if it had been carried out, would have succeeded in putting the track athletics of both colleges on a firm basis, and consequently we cannot too deeply deplore the unfavorable reply of our sister college.
