When movie buffs started playing Six Degrees of KEVIN BACON, in which players attempt to link any actor to the star in six steps, "I thought it was a joke at my expense," says Bacon. "And I thought it would go away." It didn't. So at Sundance this year, Bacon put the game to use by launching a website, Sixdegrees.org which accepts donations for stars' favorite charities.
