Major Jordan Lawrence Mott 3d of Santa Catalina Island, Calif., grandson of the late Ironmaster Jordan Lawrence Mott; and Mrs. Frances Hewett Bowne (Frances Gibson), onetime operetta singer (The Chocolate Soldier); in Merced, Calif.
