...Leverett House is appalling. It is unfortunate that the Dowlings did not perceive the opportunity which the grates provided as one allowing us to offer service to others less fortunate than ourselves. We have few opportunities of this sort in life, certainly far too few to waste through poor judgement. More creative solutions to the reported security risk posed by the homeless could have been developed through involvement of the Leverett community.
