Already signing up candidates, the Navy will open the schools by May 1 and admit 2,500 men a month. Students will get a three-months' course of 1) physical toughening, including ditchdigging, jujitsu, rough-&-tumble fighting and learning to march 40 miles a day, 2) Naval history and customs, 3) military drill and seamanship. 4) communications and ordnance.
