...Singapore Airlines Flight 006 solely on the pilot who turned onto the wrong runway [AVIATION, Nov. 13]. Surely authorities at Taipei's airport should share some responsibility for what happened. A runway that was under repair was not adequately closed off, and no one seemed to notice that a jumbo jet was taking off from the wrong runway.
