Yesterday afternoon the high jump and pole vault which were postponed from the 'Varsity games of April 17, on account of rain, were jumped off. In the high jump, Putnam, Stickney and Holt had been tied, but as Stickney was unable to perform on account of his injured knee, only Putnam and Holt jumped, the former winning with 5 ft. 8 in., Holt doing 5 ft. 6 3-4 in. ...limited number of seats will be erected temporarily on Holmes Field for use at the Invitation Meeting on May 9. These seats will be parallel with the broad jump path and opposite the finishes in the runs. They will be reserved and will sell for $1.00 each. Regular admission will be 50 cents. H. A.
